165th Airlift Wing hosts services Skill Enhancement Courses

Airmen from 15 Air National Guard units across the United States perform search and recovery exercises as part of the week long Skill Enhancement Course conducted by the National Guard Bureau, April 18, 2013 at Savannah Air National Guard base. Instructors conducted training scenarios for 25 National Guard Airmen to recover, document, and collect partial remains and personal effects at a mock incident site. The first week of training focused on readiness management for the Force Support Squadron. While the second week focused on mortuary affairs, with a day dedicated to a search and recovery exercise.
