165AW and Savannah CRTC host Military Legislative Assistants for Chambliss and Scott

Savannah, Ga. --  Military Legislative Assistants (MLA), retired Col. Todd Harmer and Mr. Matt Hodge visit Savannah to obtain information about the 165th Airlift Wing, Savannah CRTC, 165th Air Support Operations Squadron, 117th Air Control Squadron, and 224th Joint Communication Support Squadron. Harmer, MLA to Senator Saxby Chambliss and Hodge, MLA to Representative Austin Scott, attend briefings by National Guard Col. Rainer "Speedy" Gomez, 165AW Commander and Col. Todd Freesemann, Savannah CRTC Commander, on the economic impact of Georgia Air National Guard units in Savannah and provide them with a force structure overview of the wing and GSUs.
