The 117th Air Control Squadron participated in a very old tradition, one that represents the most formal aspects of Air Force social life, Nov. 1, 2013 at the Richmond Hill City Center in Richmond Hill, Ga. Enhancing esprit de corps and reinforcing the ceremony and tradition that play an important role every Air Force unit, the Air Force Dining Out also welcomes family members and friends to share in the festivities.

Lt. Col. Ronald N. Speir, Jr. presided over the event as the President of the Mess, while Maj. Ryan Hampton Vice President filled the role of emcee for the evening. Official rules governed the night's activities, as unit members honored brothers in arms, celebrated achievements, and enjoyed fellowship with coworkers and families.

This was a great opportunity for the entire unit to come together in a social setting. The unit is preparing for a six month deployment to Southwest Asia.
